Review – The Cheesecake Factory At Home

What better then a snow day to try new things?

On this beautiful snowy day in Jersey I decided to try the Cheesecake Factory At Home Cheesecake Mix.

I’m somewhat of a baking snob so this was gonna be rough!

The box of mix, some butter, eggs, cream cheese and milk and were all ready.

The directions are very easy to follow,  much simpler then a water bath!

Here is the base .. The Crust

And what it looks like before going into the oven.

I did find that it  needed to cook a little longer then recommended, but that could have just been my oven.

ONCE IT IS  ready you absolutely have to let it cool in the fridge it makes a world of difference.

Cheesecake Cooked

I have to say….I was surprised!

It’s pretty good. Not better then a slice you would get at Cheesecake factory but good for a box mix you make at home and don’t have to slave over the stove.

They have Classic, Strawberry, and Salted Caramel.

I tried the Classic and now that I know it’s good I will mix in some Oreo’s next time or chocolate chips!

This whole process from start to finish took roughly an hour (including baking time)!

For under $4 you can’t go wrong!
